Building a motion control rig for repeatable robotic motion curves for video shoots.
Use an existing 6 axis robot manufacturer to integrate and develop a motion control robot.
The robotic system proved to be extremely useful in production, it was not without it's technical challenges and we were in dev a lot to get this beast up and running but ultimately it succeeded in speeding shoots up 10x.
I was involved with doing many product shoots, the need arose to automate, so I went about doing research on all available robot arms.
Denso proved to be the most applicable at the time, so I purchased the arm and hired an engineer to help me integrate the robot arm into a motion control device.
It proved to be a great success and my agency at the time did hundreds of shoots for clients like Sam's Club and Walmart.
